Book Signing with Hazel Prior...

This promises to be a delightful, heart-warming, festive afternoon, so please do join author and harpist Hazel Prior by the fireside at Seven Fables and discover her joyous writing.

Life and Otter Miracles is her fourth novel, her previous titles include Ellie and the Harp Maker, likewise set on Exmoor, and Away with the Penguins, which was a featured pick for not only the BBC Radio 2 Book Club but also the Richard and Judy Book Club.

When asked about her writing genre and style, Hazel’s reply is…

‘I’m not sure that my books fit into any genre apart from ‘book club’ but they’ve all been described as original and uplifting. I have done my best to write what is true, what is lovely, what is important and what is fun… and I’ve sneakily managed to put in some of my favourite things, like harps and penguins!’ We believe she needs to add otters and Exmoor to that list…

Sunday the 3rd of December is also Dulverton by Starlight, so do wrap warm up to enjoy the seasonal atmosphere. Father Christmas will be visiting to listen to those Christmas wishes, alongside a winter market, street entertainers, live music and of course the famous firework finale.
