TAMSIN ABBOTT at Number Seven Dulverton

Regulars to Number Seven will be very familiar with Tamsin Abbott's signature bucolic images that gently glow from her stained glass work.

We have been representing her work for a number of years now. I unpacked her first delivery in 2012 after her work was brought to my attention by the artist and illustrator Catherine Hyde; whose prints, cards and books we also sell.

Since then Tamsin's work has been bought and adored by our customers and her reputation has steadily grown, and it would seem this month hit a well earned wave.

The March edition of Country Living magazine featured a six page spread focusing not just on her work but the wonderful timber framed studio where she creates watched over by pawed companions!

This Easter weekend you can step into her studio and garden with Matt Baker as the BBC's Countryfile team recently paid a visit to Tamsin's home. The programme focuses on crafts people keeping rural skills alive and alongside Tamsin's stained glass there are heritage builders and a weathervane maker. The programme is on air 7pm Easter Sunday and if you are too busy eating chocolate bunnies you will be able to find it on the BBC iPlayer.

We have a lovely selection of Tamsin's glass work currently in stock and are also expecting a delivery of her prints and cards.

The best way to select a piece is obviously by calling into the shop in person. However if this is not possible we can always email you images of her work and send it by post to you.
