Seven Fables Celebrates!

A very special day at Seven Fables to celebrate twenty-one years of our little shop...

We are delighted that Jackie Morris is able to join us, she will be resident 'in the kitchen' painting, chatting, and signing books.

Jackie Morris is an award-winning writer and illustrator. She has illustrated over 60 books and is best known for the stunning The Lost Words co-written with Robert Macfarlane – a love song to many increasingly rare words pertaining to nature and the natural world. These illustrations earned her the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2019 and she has recently been nominated for the 2024 Andersen Award by the International Board of Books for Young People.

Originals, limited edition prints, alongside a wide range of her many beautiful titles will be on view and available to purchase throughout the day. Her visits are always quite magical, and you will depart dreaming of hares, bears, and wild folk!

Cake and refreshments will be available, and there is no need to book as the day is open house, however we kindly ask that you RSVP to ensure we have plenty of sweet treats to share.
